Organising myself so I can exercise?
I have a son that is 1yr old. I have been reading your website and I know that time management means getting organised BUT it is very hard in reality.
For example, I know I should exercise but by the time I have gotten my son breakfast in the morning and tidied the house I'm exhausted. The last thing I want to do is go out for a walk.
Do you have any suggestions as to how I could organise myself better?
I know that it's hard when you have children to get yourself organized let alone try and make time to exercise. But, in my opinion, exercising is one of the best things you can do - once you have done it, you will have a burst of energy so that you will be able to tackle the organizing of your household!
The best suggestion I can make is that you should try and get out of the house for a walk before you feed baby breakfast - it saves you getting bogged down in the household chores so early.
Maybe there is something he would eat as a sort of pre-breakfast snack, something which would keep his hunger away while you are out walking with him. My little one loves bananas or grapes in the morning. You could prepare fruit or even a sandwich the night before (have it ready in a little container). Don't forget to have both yours and baby's clothes ready and the stroller ready so that all you have to do is get changed, grab the food and stroller and head out the door!!
Good luck and happy exercising!
